A pegasus (plurar pegasi) is a pony or horse with wings that generally can fly with the help of magic, as well as control the weather and cloud walk. Rainbow Dash is a pegasus. One of the three main and seven overall[Footnotes 1] types of ponies found in Equestria. Pegasi are rare outside of Equestria, the only encounter with them have been the remains of Ancient Pegasi found in various places, and live descendants from an offshoot of Commander Hurricane's party found living in the Durandana crater. They are also one of the 6 tribes that live in Rohbredden.
